On the Water: A Sailing Portfolio
SailGP · America's Cup · Bermuda
The sea has always been where Bermuda's story lives. These images are not records of races.
They are portraits of forces: wind, hull, human will, and ocean.
The same attention I bring to memory and connection in my portrait work, I bring to movement, and to the light that holds it all.
SailGP
These boats do not sail, they fly. Foiling at the edge of 50 knots above Bermuda's turquoise water, they exist where speed meets the limits of what is physically possible. My lens follows not just the speed, but the tension between control and surrender that defines every race.
America's Cup
The America's Cup came to Bermuda and brought with it the full weight of sailing's oldest story. I photographed not the spectacle, but the quieter moments within it: the preparation, the concentration, the brief stillness before everything is decided by wind and water.
Open Water & Bermuda Sailing
Before the race series and the world's cameras arrived, Bermuda's sailors were already here: reading the wind, knowing the tides, belonging to the sea in a way that needs no audience. These images are the ones closest to my heart. Unhurried. Intimate. Full of tradition and Bermuda's maritime legacy.
